Incomming priority message from starfleet command!

Admiral Reece, be on the look out for The Prometheus.
She was sent on a hirogen hunting mission.
But we havent heard anything from Admiral Tyler in days.
Its a covert operation, he may be keeping communications silence, but he is a bit of a rogue and may take matters into his own hands.

Admiral Janeway Hails The Sovereign.

"Reece good to see you, how are things at your end of the galaxy"

"Im puzzled Admiral....ther area is deserted and there is no trace of wepons fire or even Romulan or Federation warp signatures.
im sending a away team to the starbase to examine what has happened on there, Im also going to look for the Prometheus... any word from her yet?"

"I've just had an encoded transmission at HQ from Admiral Jack, it was a bit garbled, but he told me not to panick and that he'd traced the hirogen near the cardassian border, the strange thing is there was alot of interference I hear the red alert siren and a lot of screaming and that was it.... nothing!"

"I would investigate my self but Im busy at HQ checking new ships."

Well... seems we're gonna be stuck here for a while. lets have a look around. see if theres something that'll tell us where we are.

I've just had a communication from Admiral Taylor telling me he's chasing the Prometheus.
he told me Admiral Tyler is taking matters into his own hands and placing the crew in danger.
I know it wasa dangerous mission to send him on, but something tells me theres more to it, Jack cant be that irresponsible surely, and analysis of the transmission from Jack says they were hit by a shock wave.
I have my doubts about this, maybe they really are missing.

Well I cant raise The Prometheus on any channel lets hope Admiral Taylor can figure it out!

The Sovereign arrives in Cardassian space and begin looking for the Prometheus.

A warp signature leads them 7 lightyears deeper in.

As they arrive the Soverign's helms man cries
"Just in time Sir take a look"

"On-screen" says Admiral Taylor

The viewscreen snaps into action and there before his eyes, the Prometheus.

Admiral Taylor tries to hail the Prometheus but gets no response only static.

The Soverigns tactical officer yells
"The Prometheus aft shields are down to 56% and aft weapons are down Sir!"

"Take us in right behind her see if we can give her some cover.... and extend our shields around her" cries the Admiral

As the Sovereign approaches and extends her shields WHAM a huge blast hist the ship..... and almost immediately from the other side BANG.

There are a few sparks on the bridge and the auto fire surpressers kick in.

"Damage Report!" Yells Admiral Taylor

"Minimal damage to port and starboard shields, so far they're still holding.... sir it appears theres more going on here thatn we were lead to believe....."

"Explain!" says the Admiral

"The first hit came from the hirogen, but it appears the second was from a cardassian warship!"

"So the hirogen have found a new ally in the cardassians huh... I thought we'd settled our differences with the cardassians"

WHAM ... another hit to the aft shields.

"Return fire try to take out the lead ships weapons!"

"Which one?"asks the tactical officer "There are now 5 vessles within weapons range, 2 more decloaking"

Just at that moment Admiral Tyler hails The Sovereign
"Thanx for dropping by but there really was no need, infact you may have made things worse"

"Explain because from what I see we just covered your ass" replies Taylor

"We have operatives on one of the cardassian ships, he was there to gather intel on the proposed merge with the hirogen"

"Looks like he did more than gather intel, it looks to me like they are more than proposing, we just been fired on from both sides"

Admiral Tyler gives the order for ship seperation "I dont like the odds of 7 to 2 so lets put an end to this"

"I agree, I'll head for the hirogen you take the cardassians" replies Taylor

"Good but try not to destroy the Rahmcha our guy is onboard, see if you can get him out of there"

The Prometheus seperates and heads off in different flight directions to combat the 6 cardassian vessles, and the Sovereign goes after the hirogen.

well they sure do pack a punch. well now its our turn and the gloves are off.. full phaser arch and spread of torpedoes .. continue doing this until they are no more !

THE USS SOVEREIGN RELENTLESSLY BOMBARDS THE HIROGEN SHIP WHILE TYLER IS STILL HANDLING THE CARDASSIONS

Hmm ok well quickly solve the source of this 'leak' and while you do that take us on a course to intercept Tyler hes badly cripled and can not hold of 6 cardssion warships alone .. 1 quarter impulse speed to be on the safe side... ENGAGE! !

The Sovereign has just destroyed the hirogen ship and is heading toward the cardassians to assist Admiral Tyler aboard the Prometheus.

What no-one knows yet is that the hirogen vessle was being flow remotely from one of the cardassian ships, there was only ever one occupant aboard the hirogen ship.
The starfleet intelligence operative!

The hirogen are onboard the Ramcha leading the cardassian fight.

Will the Admirals discover the trap and find out how much the enemies know?

2 of the cardassian vessles are now disabled and drifting, The Prometheus is turning her bow to the Ramcha as she does, all other remaining cardassian vessles jump into high warp, and the Ramcha, having its warp engines damaged, cloaks and escapes slowly under impulse.

Admiral Taylor "What just happened?"
"They've gone Sir" answers the helmsman.
"Hail the prom...."
Before Taylor could finish his sentance the viewscreen activated and Admiral Tyler shouts "Ignore the others, concentrate on the Ramcha she's still here somewhere we crippled her warp drive!"

"And if we cant find her?" asks Taylor
"Then we have 2 disabled cardassian ships adrift, they'll give us what we need to know.... star continuous scans Im going after the drifters see if I cant beat it out of one of their commanders ha!"

"NO!" shouts Taylor...continuing slightly more calmer... " your ship needs repairs we're in a little better shape we'll get the commanders"

"Exactly" replies Tyler "Your in better shape, who better to fight if the Ramcha re-appears, those drifting vessles cant harm us, they're sitting ducks"

Taylor agrees, he was trying to distract Admiral Tyler because he knows with that laugh, if he has to Admiral Tyler will follow his word quite literally and beat it out of the cardassians.

After a few moments on the bridge First Officer Manda King & Seven arrive on the bridge.

"Ready to go Admiral" they both say in tandum.

Janeway shakes her head, well Seven is usually in command even though she has no official rank. But a first officer is a first officer.

King & Seven look at each other and take opposite directions round the bridge to get to the Admiral standing by the helm.

"Helmsman set course to intercept Admiral Taylor in the Cardassian system, warp 9 engage when ready"

The helmsman nodds and taps a few panels and Voyager is at warp.

Seven asks the Admiral why she isnt using the new engines to get there quicker.
The Admiral is a little reluctant as they are still relatively new.

Soon Voyager arrives in the Cardassian system and the tactical alert systems sound, the view screen automatically snaps into action and can see the Prometheus & the Sovereign in battle mode.
