The USS James Kirk is currently at Starbase 157 Alpha having upgrades.

Once completed she will continue the Prometheus´s previous mission during her absence and see what more she can learn.

Admiral Janeway has informed Admiral Adawm Kirk that the upgrades could take 2 days though she is hoping it is quicker as the situation near Cardassia is quite dire.

Even with a skeleton crew running things those onboard the base have done exceedingly well. The mobile emittors are out, and a number of ships have been upgraded for Slipstream Drive. I am proud of all my crewmen.

Most notably is the USS Kirk she is ready to depart on the Prometheus' mission. Her upgrdes now being complete

All upgrades and repairs and outfits to the USS James Kirk are now complete and ahead of sechudle. She is ready to set out on the Promethrus' mission.
