Deep Space 11
A newly developed heavy class deep space station.
Located in the Delta Quadrant.
State of the art technology, weaponry and defence capability.

Primary mission, reason for being, to be the first of many federation bases in the new expanding federation universe.
To offer aid and stability of trade and diplomatic relations in the Delta Quadrant.

Under fleet command of Admiral Amanda Grayson & Admiral Bill Niedrich.

Following the recent borg mission at starbase 157 alpha, Fleet Captain Amanda Grayson was promoted to Admiral and given command of the new space station in the Delta Quadrant, one of the federations first new expansions into the wider universe.

Along with the station, Admiral Grayson & Admiral Bill Niedrich have been given the USS Defiant NX-74205.

Indeed, I just hope Captain Neelix wont bug Admiral Grayson and Admiral Niedrich too much.
He means well, but Im not sure how much of his happy go lucky nature, that often gets him in trouble, they will be able to cope with.

Im onboard Voyager with Kat & Rommy, all Voyager crew now ready, slipstream drive online.
I have just been given clearance to launch from Admiral Daniels Adama at the starbase. I´ve hailed all vessels and received acknowledgement that all vessels stand by to launch.

"Janeway to all vessels, stand by for slipstream on my mark, Task force vessels set course for the Talaxian Asteroid Colony, we will rendevouz there, Admiral Owen Paris, good luck on your mission see you soon."

All Vessels now report course laid in and ready to launch.

"Janeway to all vessels, alright folks lets make this a good one, the starbase is awaiting a good display, lets not let Admiral Adama down. All vessels enter slipstream in 5,4,3,2,1 Launch!"

All vessels jump to slipstream and head to their locations.

OOC: All vessels in the task force if playing on fb, please play out on the DS11 wall.
The Luna will play out on her own wall but if need to contact HQ, post here on the main wall, or to contact Janeway on the DS11 wall. But folks please dont forget to play out or atleast update the relevent sections on the forum, the parent home of our groups, and also consult it for missions and maps etc.

Kathryn Janeway All vessels have arrived in a blinding light at the Talaxian asteroid colony, the renamed Galaxy Class starship, USS Talaxia TXD-001 is in view and waiting in orbit around the asteroid.

I have just granted permission for Commander Dax to be perminantly placed as CMO aboard Admiral Grayson´s Deep Space 11.

I open the comms to all vessels "Well folks were here, Janeway to Captain Neelix, you´re rescue party has arrived"

I hear Neelix giggle and in his ever so cheerful way reply "welcome, welcome all to the delightful Delta Quadrant, Im Captain Neelix and Im going to ....."

As he stumbles on his words ever so delighted I interupt him "Neelix, Neelix...."

"Yes Admiral ?" he pauses mid sentance.

"Forget the pleasantries lets get on with it, there will be time for meet and greet later" I laugh

"Ofcourse Admiral as you say, standing by for your orders"

"Janeway to all vessels standard orbital pattern"

All vessels acknowledge and meet around the asteroid.

I ask Kat & Rommy "Being that Admiral Grayson is going to be a perminant feature here and responsible for this Quadrant, perhaps we should let her lead this mission, you know throw her in at the deep end as it were, what do you think. Aside from we should follow Mr Neelix´s plan reguarding his homeworld, after all it is his home, but we should let Admiral Grayson co-ordinate things"

I await Kat & Rommys puzzled rresponse before continuing.

Ah I see, I see, ahh, while I have your attention, I must indeed say we should get underway and very soon too.
After Admiral Daniels Adama left, I took the liberty to contact the Haakonian´s on our homeworld Talaxia, informing them we would be arriving to take back our planet. Just rfuuling their feathers a little as you do.
Anyway they responded by saying and I quote, that they would be willing to meet our fleet and discuss terms of surrender. *I shrug a little* Whether or not the meant their surrender or ours Im not sure, but they did say they would have an escort fleet standing by to meet us on arrival.
*I shuffle around on the view screen moving back to my new captains chair aboard the Talaxia* Ah perhaps no need to mention the exact details to Admiral Janeway, undoubtably she would blame me for this, little over sight. I was only doing my job as new Captain informing them of our intensions.

Sorry to intrude Admiral, I heard every word. Mr Neelix hasnt quite grasped the controls yet I see. His message was broadcast to all ships haha.

Sometimes I wish he wasnt so bold and clumsy, but I guess he was trying his best, but he has given them a heads up, I was hoping for a non confrontational mission but he may have given us a problem we could have avoided.
I guess he is right, we will see when we get there.

*neelix* "Very well Admiral old friend and you?"

*me* "good thankyou and less of the old haha"

we both laugh

*me* "By chance have you visited the shuttle bay recently?" I ask hoping he hasnt found my shuttle that Admiral Adama left onboard.

*neelix* not wanting to look like I hadnt been performing my duties I respond stuttering "I, I ah, well you see the thing is, its been very very hectic and busy over here....."

*me* I interupt Neelix mid his sentence "Neelix Neelix, its ok dont worry, I was just enquiring, no matter" I now know he hasnt been anywhere near the shuttle bay and hasnt found my shuttle, not that he could anyway, Admiral Adama made sure he hidden it, and Kat checked as did I.

As Captain Neelix is quizzing me why I asked, I snap my fingers and my shuttle is transported from the Talaxia and is now in Voyagers shuttle bay, much to half the crew surprise she is also uncloaked now.

"No worries Captain Neelix, stand by for further orders, we will be underway soon."

I open a channel to all vessels. "Janeway to the fleet, I think it may be an idea for some of us to meet aboard DS11 to conduct the mission before we head in, I hear Captain Neelix may have tipped our hand, we may have to come up with a strategy. Janeway Out"

I go to my old ready room leaving the bridge to the first officer of Voyager, as I enter my old ready room I take in the beauty and nostalgia of the sight infront of me. "Computer,... dear old friend of mine.....COFFEE....BLACK!!!"

For once its almost as if the computer/replicator system is happy to see me back, and in all my years of arguing about how I like my coffee, it produces the best coffee I´ve tasted for years

I pat the top of the replicator and say "thanx old friend, you finally got it right, and yes I missed you too"

Voyager makes me realise how different things are in this new universe and reminds me she is basically alive, which not many know and responds through the computer "I missed you too Admiral, Im glad you like it"

I look stunned and then sit at my old readyroom desk and start working on the console. As I turn the console on, theres a pre recorded message from Admiral Grayson
"Hello Admiral, it was a pleasure to serve on Voyager as her Captain for a while, but I sure couldnt fill your shoes, the ship and I got along for a while, I even found out her secret when she asked for you. Anyway it was a pleasure keeping your seat warm but Voyager belongs with you. Plus I have my own station to command now so Im happy, especially with this new pip" the image of amanda grayson on the screen is pointing to her admirals pip it must have been recorded just as she was promoted to admiral. "Well Admiral I leave her with you, I must get to DS11 now, take care of Voyager, I for one know she misses you, oh by the way I think she was feeling a little left out with you spending so much time aboard The Andromeda so look after her, she has feelings you know"

Update, the mission was a success, all vessels are now at DS11.
Admiral Janeway will soon be leaving to head back to HQ before continuing on her mission to Atlantis.
Admiral Picard will continue efforts and all further missions in the Delta Quadrant including the immediate negotiations between the Talaxians & Hakonians.

Lt Lucas Johnson is waiting at Starfleet HQ.
Upon my return to HQ I will send him out Aboard the Equinox to be given to her new Captain, John Picard and new first officer Ethan Hawk.
Upon Arriving Lt Johnson will take his position as the Defiant's helmsman.

After a successful mission Voyager is currently docked at DS11.
We are touring the station and having a little R'n'R time.

I will be handing functions in the Delta Quadrant over to Admiral Picard & Admiral Niedrich soon, then heading back to HQ, where I will take out The Andromeda Ascendent to Meet Dr Weir aboard Atlantis.

Hopefully Lady Xanxa still wishes to attend.
The original plan was to search for Atlantis, but we or rather Rommy, received a transmission from Dr Weir asking about our meeting again to continue where we left off, and gave Rommy the location co-ordinates.

Kathryn Janeway I meet all ships comanders onboard DS11 And we plan a strategy approach to the Talaxian homeworld.

Ok folks the plan is simple, Voyager & the USS Talaxia will approach the homeworld, and appear peaceful and try to begin the negotiation.

All other vessels take this route *I point on the screen* And hide behind Rinax, the Talaxian moon. At the first sign of trouble I will send a signal for all vessels to engage, and create an attack formation.

If all things go well, I will again signal for all vessels to move in, but in a more relaxed formation, so we may begin negotiation.

Any questions or suggestions at this point?

*I hand the floor over to the other commanding officers*

Kat hunny, although Talaxia is now occupied by the Hakonians, much of the planet is still covered by the metrion cloud since the attack many years ago with the metrion cascade device. Much of it is still uninhabitable, which might make negotiations difficult for the hakonians to let go of what little they have.

If we could some how use our powers to get rid of that toxic cloud, they might be more willing.
I know the hakonians have their own homeworld, but diplomatically I dont wish to rid the planet of them, just allow the Talaxians to take their rightful place, but allow hakonians to still live among them, Im hoping we can get them to be ally planets instead of enemies.

I dont want to rid the cloud straight away, its our bargaining tool.
But mid the negotiations when I give the signal, do you think you can do it?

*I realise Im putting pressure on Kat at this point, but my thinking is that if a child can selflessly help them, then they might concider allowing the Talaxians to retake their homewrold peacfully.

Kathryn Janeway Thankyou Kat darling. I will help you if I can, Im hoping we wont need to use it as a bargaining tool, but just incase.
However if all goes well and they decide to allow the Talaxians home anyway, we would still have to remove the cloud, but we can then do that in a more timely manner and not so much pressure.

Its adjustable you know. *I open the 1st officers command console and show her the controls* You probably remember from your dad showing you when you used to sit on his knee during the night shifts. Just be careful not to set off any weapons *I laughingly joke with her*

Kathryn Janeway The bridge crew of Voyager clap and get about their duties, The helmsman gives Kat a quick salute and spins in his chair and engages the engines on course to Talaxia.
The USS Talaxia is oncourse by the side of us, and all other vessels have engaged towards the Talaxian moon.

So are several Hakonian vessels orbiting Talaxia.

I think it was a warning shot, but another is inbound.
They´re hailing us. They´re damnding our surrender, and claiming full rights to Harkonia2, their name for the Talaxian homeworld. They say the first two bouts were warning shots, they´re quite willing and prepared to fight, the next wont be a warning, if we dont depart in the next 5 minutes and leave them in peace.

The Hakonians are making a tighter formation and 3 more vessels have just been launched from the further side of Hakonia2.
2 escort sized ships and 1 battlecruiser.
There are now 6 vessels in formation, 3 of which match the size of the battlecruiser.

Kathryn Janeway The Defiant is taking weapons fire from the larger battlecruiser now in persuit of them. The Enterprise tries to lay cover fire and distract them so that the Defiant can engage with the smaller vessels. Although smaller than the battlecruisers they are still battleships, around the size of a Nova Class Starship, They are covering the planet and undoubtably relaying messages and preparing more vessels for launch.

The Hakonian´s respond "Admiral, this is the Hakonian 1st Minister, this planet though large, is vastly uninhabitable, due to the metrion cloud, we appreciate what we did during the war of our two worlds was wrong and have been trying to fix this, however our own homeworld self distructed and we have no place else to go, I assure you those vessels that met you in orbit were acting alone without our orders, vigilanties trying to protect their only salvation as a home, do you read me Voyager"

I reply to the Hakonian 1st Minister, "Minister, we are prepared to work with your people and the Talaxians have assured me they wish no further conflict, Captain Neelix observed the distruction of your home planet, and in sympathy of someone him self without a home, wishes to extend their home to you, but they do want their home back. Thye have suggested a co-operation of the two species, and even submitted you for entry into the federation as a co-existing species on a new universal federation planet."

Minister: "That is most gracious of Captain Neelix and the Talaxians, we would happily work along side them and create a joint species world. But even after all our work we still cant disperse this cloud, and its still killing our people everyday, oh the pain, the pain, Admiral any help you and your fleet can give would be most graciously accepted, and we accept being in your federation and look forward to working together"

me: "Minister we have plans of how to disperse your cloud, we can do it the hard way with alot of work, or we could try do it the easy way, it is possible, by the help of me & my daughter to disperse the cloud entirely, however in the spirit of getting your two peoples working together and learning to trust one another, I think it may be an idea to have you work on this as a starting point, but I am willing, if my daughter is, to disperse some of it now"

Minister:"That is most kind Admiral but how do you propose to do what you are saying, what is the ah easy way?"

Me: "Watch and observe minister, after this the rest will be upto you and your peoples to figure out, be informed that there will be a perminant base here in the delta quadrant and several starfleet ships on hand to assist and command."

Kathryn Janeway Admiral´s Log Stardate 201103.09 Time Index 11.53
We have just recieved word that Captain Eagan, aboard DS11 in the medical ward, is getting much better and is almost ready to retake command of the enterprise. Upon returning to DS11 and a full report from the station´s CMO, he will be granted a return to duty and command.

During acting Captain John S Picard´s command of the Enterprise, he performed admirably, as did all vessels and crew. Im going to talk with Admiral Grayson & Admiral Bill Niedrich about giving John his own ship to command, Im sure they will agree but for now Im going to keep it under wraps until decided and then allow his commanding officers to hand him his ship. I will ofcourse have to get the ship sent in from the Alpha Quadrant, but thats easily arranged.

The Hakonians have agreed to co-exist with the Talaxians on the new federtion planet Talaxia, its rightful name, not Hakonia2, All vessels are making final checks and boarding the vigilatny vessels ready to head back to DS11 just a few sectors away from here.

Kathryn Janeway I get Rommy to mute audio on the viewscreen so I can talk to Kat.
Kat tells me she can totally disperse the cloud or atleast its toxicity levels.
I tell her that it is good she is capable of it, but in order to get a true start to the now co-existing species, to disperse what she can of the toxic levels, but leave most of the visual cloud, that way they will think they have got something to work together towards.

Kat proceeds, Rommy gives a status report. 40% of the cloud has been dispersed and the majority of toxic levels are now within tolerance.

I pat Kat on the back and say thankyou as she sits back in her dads chair.
Captain Neelix is aware of what has just happened and knows its a bargaining ploy to make sure the Hakonians sitck to their agreement, I hail the Hakonian Minister.
"Minister as you can see 40% of the cloud has now been dispersed its now upto you and the Talaxians to work together with the federation to get rid of the rest"

I dont inform him that the toxic levels have all but gone, but a little ommision of truth to get them working together is worth it.

The Minister responds "Acknowledged Admiral and say thankyou to your daughter for me, she is a marvel, I will beam aboard your ship soon and head back with you to DS11"

I reply "Understood stand by for transport..." *turning to kat "Kat go meet the minister in transporter room 2, take Rommy with you"

Borg Queen Standing watch on a vessel on the outer edges of the Talaxian system, I watch as the mission unfolds and watch the fleet head toward a new space station DS11.
So far I dont believe Admiral Janeway is aware that she braught me back in her mixed up universe, she probably believes she destoryed me in her last know world.
Im going to keep an eye on her for now and see how things progress then spontaniously show up.

Actually I believe the Admiral may be aware of us, because our nature is somewhat different, although still striving for perfection, we only assimilate willing participants and are not the same destructive force we were once known for. Borg Queen I watch as one vessel strays from the fleet, they appear to be having engine difficulties. I use this oppertunity to find out what my old friend the Admiral is upto and find out if she is aware of us.
I await the other vessels to be out of range and move in, and tractor the remaining vessel in. The Whitestar Paladine, several life forms aboard, their leader a Technomage called Lady Xanxa. I beam her to my chambers and begin to question her over Admiral Janeway and fleet actions.

Kathryn Janeway My concerns about the missing Lady Xanxa are growing stronger. More so because her vessel hasnt docked to the station. I've checked station sensors and there is no sign of her vessel, but oddly I can only scan short range, there appears to be some interference blocking us from scanning further. Im now wonderinf if a certain someone has captured The Whitestar Paladine.

Kathryn Janeway I try to belay her fears by telling her that Im taking Lord Urza, Bra'tac & Tea'lc on a trip to Talaxia a pleasure trip and so Lord Urza can conduct his negotioations. Hoping she buys the story, but she's smarter than that, she knows the Hakonian minister & Captain Neelix are aboard DS11, so why would Lord Urza have to go to Talaxia.

Kathryn Janeway: Lord Urza, wishing also to protect Kat. Shakes his head at me and says.
"She knows Admiral, I understand you wishing to protect her but you should tell her, you are a woman of honesty are you not?"

Tea'lc & Bra'tac also suggest that worries never hide anything from their children, they must be prepared for anything in battle and not shielded from the truth.

Im giving you permission to take the Equinox and bring her here to Deep Space 11. You know what to do once you get here. Hand the Equinox to Captain John S Picard, then report to Admiral Amanda Grayson-Picard & Admiral Bill Niedrich for duty aboard the Defiant as the Defiant's helmsman. Janeway Out!"
