The Sovereign was one of the vessles part of the First Fleet.

The Sovereign is currently at starbase 157 alpha, Admiral Reece Taylor was on personal leave but has now requested to return back to duty.
He requested that the Sovereign be transported to Earth but we have informed him she would have to return to have her engines upgraded for slipstream upon Admiral Daniels safe return from the Talaxian colony.
Admiral Taylor has agreed to wait at the starbase and enjoy the freedom from command, after all he has only just returned it would be ashame to throw him in at the deep end.
Enjoy Admiral you'll soon be busy.
Not that we couldnt do with a hand round the starbase.

| The Sovereign has been docked at Starbase 157 Alpha for sometime when the incident with the Andromeda Ascendant and Admiral Janeway occured I ordered an emergency upgrade to her engines, that they be upgraded to Slipstream immediately in the event she be needed. Having the rescue of the admiral transpired the upgrades have been slowed to the standard pace. It is expected that the Sovereign be Slstream ready in about one week. During which time she will also be given the first of the batch of mobile emitors. For the EMH. |
