Meanwhile, Kat was in the Janeway quarters as all of this was going on. Deanna and Reg had promised to spend some time with her and play music together. She was also busy studying, trying to be a good little girl and do as she was supposed to. She knew that Mommy and the others were dealing with the Borg right now.

During a brief moment of quiet on the bridge, the Admiral decides to com Kat.

"Hi Kat hunny, I hope everything is ok down there, hope your not too scared.
The mission is almost complete, Im hoping we can spend some time together once its over. Deanna tells me your studies are going well and that you are composing some new music."

As the Admiral was about to continue and awaiting Kat´s response, Rommy shouts, "Admiral your assistance please!"

"Sorry Kat I have to go, I love you, mommy out!"

"Mommy?" enquired Rommy with a grin.

"Well I am her mother Rommy" I smile a reply

"Ofcourse Admiral, I´ve just never heard you end a call with mommy out, its usually Janeway or Admiral" laughs Rommy

"Well I could hardly say that to Kat, I mean she knows Im the Admiral but, well that was more of a personal call than a Admiral giving orders, if you follow" I say trying to explain it to Rommy

"I understand Admiral" she smiles and asks "Does that mean you´ll be ending your comms to me with a more family approach then?" Rommy enquires

"It depends on the sitation I guess, I have on occassion spoken to Kat as crew, but mostly as family" I reply

Rommy is laughing by now at me trying to explain.

"Relax Kathryn I was teasing, its nice to know even during a battle you have time for more important family matters" explains Rommy

"But yes you are family to me, & Im sure to Kat also, I hear the 2 of you are getting along greatly now, well now that she knows you and isnt frightened by you" I say almost regretting the latter part.

"Oh I know it can be intimidating to meet new people Admiral, and I am happy you think of me as family, but I wasnt fishing for an invite I was just teasing, defusing a tense situation with humour" says Rommy

"And this is certainly tense, hopefully not for much longer though" I reply.

Rommy and I smile at each other and continue our duties at hand.

"Report!" I yell
"More than 80% of the spheres occupants have been transformed into individuals, the shields have collapsed and all vessels are standing by to assist in the ex-drones re-integration into humanity" calls Rommy

"Excellent, lets get this over with......and then you can join us for dinner" I add as a final comment watching the huge grin appear on Rommy´s face.

She laughingly replies "As an android I rarely eat, but it would be my pleasure to join you both.....Mom" she laughs.

"Mom huh, hmmm, well I guess Kat wont mind having a big sister" I giggle back. As one more volley from the sphere hits The Andromeda "But we´ll talk about the roles later"

"Indeed" replies Rommy, firing back at the sphere.

Kat received the message and was able to hear the conversation between her Mommy and Rommy before she closed the comm. She was excited that Rommy was a part of their family and would be like a big sister to her, and also that she would be joining them for dinner. She went back to her music and began to play.

Aboard Voyager, Captain Amanda Grayson noticed a weakness in the spheres defences and sent out a highly charged Tachion beam, rendering the sphere powerless.
Giving the starbase the power to complete the mission.

The seperated sections of the starbase have now rejoined with the main section.

All borg drones have now been transformed into individuals, disconnected from the hive mind.

All ships are beaming suvivors aboard their ships for councilling and assistance reintegrating them into normal life.

Voyager has engaged a tractor beam on the sphere and is towing it back to the starbase.

"Janeway to all vessels, well done, mission accomplised" shouts the Admiral

She can hear chears through all comm channels.

"Now we need to help these ex-drones come to terms with their freedom, beem as many as you can aboard your vessels and re converge at the starbase"

"Janeway to Lord Selmak, your afore mentioned techniques and ideas on assisting the ex-drones will be greatly welcomed here, meet us at the starbase"

At The starbase the admiral pulls Captain Grayson to one side.

"Well done Captain, I wish to speak to you in a moment about the mission to the Delta Quadrant, but lets get this finished first" I say quietly in her ear.

Captain Grayson looking slightly puzzled simply replies "Aknowledged Admiral, call me when you need me"

"I will oh and you might want to assemble your crew for this one, especially Worf Mogh" I say as I wink at her

With a raised eyebrow and suspicious look Captain Grayons replies "As you wish"

*OOC: I´ve decided to push forward the temporary borg mission to allow other missions to finally get underway, the help of the drones etc will still play a part, but now the group(s) and forum is moving along so should the stories. So for the most part the borg mission is complete and we can now continue verious missions in their own sections.*

I have been working now for weeks trying to recover lost data on the exploration my self and Admiral Janeway were on before the unfortunate incident.

I dont know what I did but I suddenly had a wave of information flood my data core.
Almost everything is clear. I must find the Admiral

"Computer Locate Admiral Janeway" I yell.
"Admiral Janeway is on deck 10 section 42 starboard side" the computer replies.

I run down the corridors as fast as my droid legs can carry me, which not to boast but is pretty fast.

"Admiral Janeway I found it!" I shout waving my arms to make sure I get her attention.

Kathryn Janeway Found what Rommy, and calm down, we dont want you overheating. I laugh.

Andromeda Ascendent ‎"The missing data" as I link my neural net with the Admiral.

Kathryn Janeway ‎"Ah excellent, finally" I breathe a sigh of relief "now we can continue our mission, but there are still several fragments in the data" I exclaim.

Andromeda Ascendent ‎"well we can probably fill in the gaps, but for the most part its all there" I smile.

Kathryn Janeway I look at Rommy and say, "its a good job we have more ships in service now, we´re going to need them"

Andromeda Ascendent ‎"I agree" in my mind I go to a certain part of the data and say "perhaps we should sent the Titan out on this mission she is virtually ready"

Kathryn Janeway looking at the data while linked to Rommy I reply "I agree, and the Luna can handle this section"

Andromeda Ascendent ‎"Should I notify the crews of the ships?" I say still unable to calm my excitement.

Kathryn Janeway ‎"Not just yet" I reply continuing to say "And we´ll leave this section for us, as soon as the Talaxian situation is over" pausing and then continuing "Admiral Grayson will be our strong hold there along with Mr Worf, and Captain Neelix aboard the Talaxia.

Andromeda Ascendent ‎"Understood Admiral... and yes I would love to finish this part with you, I had wondered why I kept saying that name, now I know why"

Kathryn Janeway ‎"Once the upgrades to the Luna are complete and all other vessels are ready, we will hand out the mission briefs.
Walk with me, we will prepare a plan of action" I call as I start walking down the corridor back to The Andromeda Ascendent ship.

Andromeda Ascendent ‎"Yes Ma´am" and I walk with her.

Im in my quarters onboard the Andromeda getting ready for this evenings Ally and pre-launch dinner party. Rommy is also getting ready and assiting me with preperations.
I must admit other than excited, I feel a little anxious too, its been quite some time since I´ve thrown an official gathering.
Rommy is helping me go over my speach, well actually more being a critic, but it all helps. I wouldnt want to stumble on my words infront of everyone especially our honoured guests.

OOC: Sorry folks I had company round and we all went out for the evening, luckily I havent missed much. So I´ll continue where I left off.

IC: Myself, Kat & Rommy are now in the messhall of the starbase and awaiting for the guests to arrive.

"Everything set Kat & Rommy"
Rommy & Kat both nod excited and nervous, exactly how Im feelin, but I cant afford to show it now.

"Kat hunny ould you like to assist Rommy in welcomming our guests as they enter?" I ask, then pause and whisper to Kat "tell me when everyone is here, then wish me luck for my speach...oh and thankyou for helping me write it"

Rommy is already waiting at the entrance doors, standing very firm with a very straight posture and a huge smile.

As far as welcoming parties go it is my job as host of sorts to bring warm tidings to all as they first enter the base and to direct them to Rommy and Kat in the messhall for the evenings festivities

Rommy as usual looks very elegant and stunning, I hope she doesnt drive all the attention to her self. Kat is so beautiful in her Gala uniform also, I may have to accept defeat, not that it was a competition, but I may have to let them run the evening, they are both gems in my eye.
Im happy they concider each other sisters, they are both family, and it seems they are really getting along. I wonder what secrets they have, sisters always do. Then a thought occurs to me, oh no They´re hatching something for this evening hmmm.

With all the excitement I cant believe I forgot about my own crews haha oops. Though I was expecting Amanda Grayson to be leading the Voyager crew in, I had forgotten I had releived her of Voyagers command with her new promotion. Honestly if my head wasnt screwed on Id probably loose that too.

Kathryn Janeway I think to my self I wish the rest of the guests would hurry and arrive, I skipped lunch and Im starving, I know I often skip lunch when Im busy, but Kat has also been very busy helping me and skipped lunch also.
Rommy I guess is fine because she doesnt really need to eat.

I was unsure about how to arrange this function, do we have a formal sit down dinner with a head table for high ranks and our allies, or do we have a more informal dinner and a buffet. With the help of Kat, Rommy, Admiral Adama and his starbase crew, we decided on the buffet, it makes it easier for people to mingle and get to know each other better in an informal gathering rather than seperated in a sit down meal on verious tables, we didnt want to give the impression that only certain people could talk and mingle, after all its about getting to know each other better. I must remember to thank them later.

I look around the room pausing, and looking at everyone wondering whats comming next.
